Reseasrch Platform

       IFCEN has established the following research laboratories around discipline development and scientific research work: Intelligent Machining Center, Thermohydraulic Laboratory, Nuclear Physics Laboratory, Nuclear Radiation Detection Material Laboratory, Nuclear Radiation Detection and Protection Laboratory, Nuclear Waste Recycling Technology Laboratory, Nuclear Electronics Laboratory, Mechanics Laboratory, Environmental Monitoring and Emergency System Laboratory, Nuclear Simulation Laboratory, Laser Cladding Laboratory, Lead-Bismuth Reactor R&D Platform, Material Corrosion Laboratory, Fusion Energy Laboratory, etc.

IFCEN has established the Teaching Experiment Center of IFCEN to assist the institute in completing experimental teaching work. The teaching experiment center currently has the following teaching laboratories: Radiochemistry Teaching Laboratory, Radiation Detection Teaching Laboratory, Neutron Detection Teaching Laboratory, Thermohydraulic Teaching Laboratory, Fluid Circulation Laboratory, Electronics Laboratory, Data Acquisition Laboratory, Solution Chemistry Laboratory.

Research centers already established include: Sun Yat-sen University-CGN Joint Research Center for Nuclear Power Safety and Emergency, Guangdong Province Nuclear Safety and Emergency Technology Engineering Research Center, Zhuhai City Key Laboratory of Nuclear Safety and Emergency Technology, Joint Laboratory for Neutron Detection Technology and Applications.
