Abstract:
The 3D online power-distribution monitoring is important to the safety and the economy of a nuclear power plant. An integrated on-line monitoring code usually contains four parts, the plant data processing, core calculation, on-line power-distribution reconstruction and uncertainty analysis, which are introduced in these Lunch Seminar. Especially, the online power-distribution reconstruction method is the proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) method. The spatial basis functions, also called POD basis are extracted from the power-distribution samples, which are used to expand the power distribution. The corresponding reconstructed coefficients are calculated based on the detector measurements.
About the speaker:
Dr. Zhuo LI, a postdoctoral of Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, received her Ph.D. degree in nuclear science and technology at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Her research interest is reactor physics.
