Abstract:

Turbulent drag reduction (TDR) technology of viscoelastic fluid is widely used in engineering practice such as oil pipelines, district heating and cooling recirculation system, and it is very helpful for energy saving and emission reduction. However, the turbulent drag reduction mechanism involved in this technology is not yet available since its introduction in 1948, which hinders the further development and utilization of this technology. The classical viscous theory and the elastic theory will be discussed in this presentation. Direct numerical simulation (DNS) can provide rich data for the mechanism study, but the high Weissenberg number problem (HWNP) remains unresolved since the 1970s, which will also be discussed.

张文华,中法核工程与技术学院博士后,2018年11月入站;博士毕业于中国石油大学(北京)油气储运系。

博士后课题:应用湍流减阻技术的新型核供热系统关键科学问题研究。

研究领域:粘弹性流体动力学;计算流体力学。
