Abstract:
Tritium is important fuel for fusion reactor, with the property of strong permeability and radiological toxicity. 3-4 Kgs of tritium will be operated in ITER device. And for future fusion reactor like CFETR in China the tritium inventory may be multiplied by several times. Huge amount of tritium loop in fusion reactor will result in significant radiological contamination and safety issues. In this presentation, this issue must be answered by modelling to give a basic realization of tritium safety to the audience.
About the speaker:
NI Muyi, B.Sc & Ph.D of USTC, associate professor of SYSU-IFCEN since May 2018, scientist fellow of ITER Organization, working on tritium transport and safety analysis.
