Ion Beam Applications in Materials and Biomedicine
摘要:
With the well-established knowledge of nuclear physics, the interaction mechanism, such as dE/dX and cross sections, between ion beam and matter has gradually become clearer. The use of ion beams has also evolved from early basic research in nuclear physics to various applications. The most typical example is that the semiconductor industry uses ion implantation to produce P or N-type semiconductors. In addition to introducing the application of general ion beams in materials, this report will present some my initial research and development results in high dose rate proton irradiation in recent years, as well as the evaluation of the possibility of using B-10 implanted nanodiamonds as B-10delivery agent for boron neutron capture therapeutic.
个人简介:
牛寰,博士毕业于台湾清华大学,现任台湾清华大学小型加速器实验室主任。其研究领域包括离子束应用和辐射测量,并在医工交叉领域有着突出的贡献。近年来,在Advanced Functional Materials,IEEE Transactions on Radiation and Plasma Medical Sciences,Applied Physics Letters,Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics等国际著名期刊发表多篇重要文章。其中在BNCT、MRI造影剂等方面有着突出的研究成果,相关工作成为发表期刊的TOP100文章,并获得了Chemistry Views与Spectrum的报导。
